The Sugar Shack is located on Vashon island and is an event space available for parties, dinners, auctions and concerts seating up to 40 people. It is also a community kitchen, available to rent for classes and food preparation.

This year the Sugar Shack hosted a fundraising event for a fellow islander, Nicole Meoli, who is fighting an aggressive cancer.  The 'Meoli Festival' raised money through live band performances, auctions and t-shirt sales.

The t-shirt illustration I created used the Sugar Shack pick up truck for inspiration.  We created a design that felt handmade and represented of the artisanal community that we are apart of.
